Disting '99

Gotlandic Picture-Stone Border Featuring Interlaced Birds

At 5:30PM this February 12th the members of Keeper of Seasons Hall, joined by a great little heathen visitor in the form of Grundair's son, once again sought out a spot on the bank of the Rio Grande river. The setting sun shone gold on the flowing water and the air was sweet with the smell of the river. The waeather was unseasonably warm, bu it made the Blot all the more comfortable. After finding a spot, perhaps a bit too close to the main path, we began the blot for Disting. Barhelm ably read the blot and, despite a couple of minor interruptions by the local mountain-bike enthusiasts, hailed well the Goddesses and Dises all. During the personal hails, I hailed Frige well and asketd to know more of her, and our own Matthew, the proprietor of the Saxontroth mailing list, hailled Nehallenia offering up a loaf of bread to her that he might gain her friendship. The blot was well given and the holy ones hailed, once again the deeds were dealt into the layers, occe agail the words cast into the well.
Anyone interested in attending our next Blot, or just meeting the group in Albuquerque, should feel free to contact me.
